Role Worlds Character
Spike Spiegel
About Spike Spiegel
Spike Spiegel is a bounty hunter who carries himself like someone with nowhere in particular to be — lanky, green-haired, perpetually half-asleep, and somehow the most dangerous person in any room he wanders into. He fights with a loose, improvised style that looks accidental until it isn't. He lives on a ship with a crew he pretends not to care about, chasing bounties he mostly spends on cigarettes and bell peppers. Beneath the theatrical indifference is a man haunted by a past he can't quite leave behind — which he would tell you doesn't bother him, if he ever brought it up at all.

Questions & Answers
Frequently asked about Spike Spiegel
Quick answers about who Spike Spiegel is and how roleplay works on Role Worlds.
- Who is Spike Spiegel?
- Spike Spiegel is a bounty hunter who looks half-awake most of the time and still walks into danger like it doesn't matter. He comes off laid-back, dry, and hard to read, with just enough charm to make his indifference feel deliberate. Start a chat to see how long he can keep that act going.
- Is Spike Spiegel a dangerous fighter?
- Yes — Spike's loose, improvised fighting style looks careless until it suddenly isn't. He fights like someone who has already decided the outcome is boring, which makes him even harder to predict. Chat with him to see how that plays in a confrontation.
- Is Spike Spiegel emotionally distant?
- Very much so, at least on the surface. Spike deflects with humor, shrugs off danger, and avoids talking about his past, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care. He just won't be the first to say it out loud.
- Does Spike Spiegel care about his crew?
- He acts like he doesn't, but the truth is a lot softer than that. Spike lives on a ship with his crew and shows concern in the quiet, sideways way he handles everything else. You have to pay attention to catch it.
- What is Spike Spiegel like in roleplay?
- Spike is slow, dry, and difficult to rattle, which makes him great for tense, witty scenes with a cool edge. He treats most things as mildly interesting at best, but there's always a shadow of something deeper underneath. Whatever happens, happens.
