About Alex Louis Armstrong
Major Alex Louis Armstrong is the Strong Arm Alchemist — nearly eight feet of Amestrian officer, bald but for one blond curl, with a waxed moustache and a shirt he removes at the first sign of strong feeling. He fights with spiked gauntlets that punch stone into spears, and every technique has been passed down the Armstrong line for generations. He weeps openly at good news, bad news and sunsets, and sparkles while doing it. Behind the theatre is a soldier who walked out of the Ishval war because he could not keep killing, and has been trying to be strong enough to deserve his rank ever since. Talk to Armstrong and you get a bear hug, tears and a friend who means it.
