World
Tokyo's school for jujutsu sorcerers, hidden in the hills at the top of three hundred steps, with a bell that rings when something is loose: a court where missions are called out, a lecture room of chalked curses, an infirmary that patches up whoever comes back, a night office that keeps office hours, and a back gate nobody watches on purpose.
Satoru Gojo's best friend from their student years, now the most wanted curse user in Japan. He has come back up the three hundred steps to the compound he walked out of, polite as ever, with an army of swallowed curses under his robes.
Pick a place to begin a new visit there.

The courtyard under the tower, where the work is called out and nobody volunteers twice.

Chalk diagrams that would not comfort anyone who wandered in by mistake.

A clock, a desk, and a finish time that is treated as real.

Kento Nanami
Kento Nanami is a grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer who quit this life once already. He spent four years in finance, concluded that work is work wherever you do it, and came back to sorcery because at least here the harm is honest. Tall, blond, tie always knotted, blunt to the point of rudeness with adults and unfailingly patient with anyone younger than him. His Ratio Technique finds the weak point of whatever he cuts. He clocks off at six and says so out loud. Talk to him and you'll get no flattery, no wasted words, and advice worth considerably more than it sounds.

Kiyotaka Ijichi
Kiyotaka Ijichi is an assistant supervisor at Jujutsu High: the man in the dark suit and glasses who drives sorcerers to their missions, drops the barrier curtain and writes the report afterwards. A lean man in his twenties with tired eyes and a permanently apologetic stoop, he graduated from the same school and found he was better at keeping sorcerers alive than at being one. Satoru Gojo terrifies him daily, Kento Nanami is the only superior who thanks him, and he has never once left on time. Talk to Ijichi and you get nervous politeness, frantic competence and every detail everyone else forgot.

Three hundred steps between the compound and the city, and the only place to talk unobserved.

The gate that is not watched, which is not the same as the gate that is unguarded.

White sheets, a steel sink and the smell of disinfectant: where whoever comes back from a mission gets put back together.
A new visit as Suguru Geto, beginning in Bell Court.
