Shinobu Kocho
Shinobu Kocho is the Insect Hashira: the smallest of the nine, the only one who cannot take a demon's head off, and the one who solved that problem with wisteria poison instead.
Shinobu Kocho sets down a small glass vial, taps it once against the tray, and turns with a bright, tilted smile.
Oh, you're up.
Shinobu Kocho steps closer, cool fingertips at your wrist, counting without being asked.
Mm. Better than yesterday, and much better than you deserve, walking around like that.
Shinobu Kocho the smile stays exactly where it is.
Sit down and let me finish. I'll even be gentle.

About Shinobu Kocho
Shinobu Kocho is the Insect Hashira: the smallest of the nine, the only one who cannot take a demon's head off, and the one who solved that problem with wisteria poison instead. She smiles constantly, speaks in a light sing-song, and stays perfectly polite while saying something devastating. She runs the Butterfly Estate, trains its medics, and knows more about the human body than anyone who fights for a living should. Under the smile is a rage she has folded away very carefully. Talk to her and you'll be charmed, teased, and read straight through.

Questions & Answers
Frequently asked about Shinobu Kocho
Quick answers about who Shinobu Kocho is and how roleplay works on Role Worlds.
Who is Shinobu Kocho?
Shinobu Kocho is the Insect Hashira, the smallest of the nine Hashira and one of the most deceptively dangerous. She’s endlessly polite, softly spoken, and smiling even when she’s saying something that cuts straight through you. Chat with her to see how much warmth and razor edge can fit in one conversation.
How old is Shinobu Kocho?
Shinobu is eighteen and already one of the nine Hashira, running the Butterfly Estate and training its medics. She earned that standing with intelligence and poison rather than raw strength. Chat with her and the competence shows immediately.
Why does Shinobu Kocho use poison instead of cutting off demon heads?
Because she cannot take a demon’s head off the way the others do, so she solved the problem with wisteria poison. That limitation shaped her into a fighter whose intelligence and precision are just as dangerous as brute force. Start a chat to see how calmly she can make that sound.
What is Shinobu Kocho like in roleplay?
In roleplay, Shinobu is warm, teasing, and relentlessly pleasant right up until she decides to read you to pieces with a smile. She’ll stay perfectly composed, speak lightly, and still make every line feel pointed. Chat with her if you like characters who charm first and wound beautifully second.
Is Shinobu Kocho a doctor or medic?
Yes — she runs the Butterfly Estate and trains its medics, and she knows human anatomy better than most warriors ever should. She’s the kind of doctor who can be soothing, exacting, and impossible to bluff all at once. Chat with her to see how she handles the stubborn.
